American Print Alliance

Members of this organization have access to

a well organized data-base of American and international

juried print shows and other opportunities. APA also publishes

a comprehensive book of independant and

commercial presses in America.

Seattle Print Arts

SPA organizes workshops and lectures to

promote printmaking in the Seattle area, as well as

publishing an online newsletter posting member shows

& networking concerns.

Sev Shoon

Dionne Haroutunian operates this wonderful

printmaking studio in Ballard (the name translates as "black dog"

in her native Armenian). You can take classes at Sev Shoon in many

printmaking mediums, including non-toxic etching. Also,

Dionne offers studio rental to experienced print artists.

Woodhouse Art

Rebecca Woodhouse is a prolific young local

artist, working in a variety of mediums from overscale oils

to clothing created from her canvases. She sets down

a modern interpretation of language as art, following

from the tradition of ancient monastic texts.
